Does it come with consumables?

The SwiftPro K30 printer is supplied without consumables, allowing you to choose the ribbons, film, and cleaning kits best suited to your printing requirements. Genuine SwiftPro consumables are available to purchase directly through our website, ensuring optimal print quality, reliable performance, and continued warranty support.

How do I set up the printer once i get it?

Setting up the Swiftpro K30 correctly starts with installing the printer driver before connecting the printer to your computer. This is the most important part of the setup process, as connecting the printer too early can cause Windows to install a generic driver, which may prevent the printer from working correctly.

Begin by downloading the latest Swiftpro K30 driver from the official support section of our website or the Swiftpro support page. Once downloaded, close any open programs and run the installer as an administrator. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully throughout the installation process.

Important: Do not connect the USB cable or power on the printer until the installer specifically tells you to do so. The driver installation wizard will prompt you when it is the correct time to connect the printer. At that stage, plug in the USB cable (or ensure the Ethernet cable is connected if installing over network), power on the K30, and allow Windows a few moments to detect the device.

Once the printer has been recognised, the installer will complete the setup automatically and register the K30 correctly on your system. When finished, open Devices and Printers or your card printing software to confirm the Swiftpro K30 appears as an installed printer.

After installation, it is recommended to print a test card or test page to confirm communication is working correctly. Completing the driver installation in the correct order helps avoid connection issues and ensures the printer performs reliably from day one.
